Below are a few special areas of need in 2024

Special Projects & Funds
Memorial & Tribute Gifts
Create Your Legacy

The Serendipity Fund is in honor of Virginia. She liked to say, “things go wrong in all the right ways.” A gift to the Serendipity Fund will cover areas where the money is needed most, or future opportunities beyond today’s imagination.

The Children’s Nature Play Fund (new!) provides family fun and outdoor adventure – encouraging children to use their imagination, connect with nature, and build environmental awareness. Your gift to this fund will cover improvements and additions to the Children’s Nature PlayScape, as well as other hands-on sensory experiences that let curiosity and exploration direct a child’s discovery of nature.

The Growing Fund is for all plant life at 577: trees, gardens, and landscapes. Your gift to this fund supports our community garden program which provides thousands of pounds of organic food donations to local food banks, replaces hazardous trees as they age and decline, allows our horticulturists to maintain natural and curated landscapes which provide a sense of awe and wonder for visitors.

The Opening Doors for All Fund supports much-needed safety improvements and accessibility upgrades to our buildings and grounds. Your gift to this fund makes 577 a more welcoming and inclusive space for our community!

The Pottery Fund puts clay in the hands of pottery students of all ages and skill levels, repairs the aging Wood Kiln, and provides tools, supplies, and equipment for our pottery studio. Your support keeps the ceramic arts community at 577 thriving!
